Nominations for the 2023 Annual Isle of Wight Sports Achievement Awards are open!

The Isle of Wight Sports Achievement Awards is an annual event that recognises outstanding achievement or service, amongst sportsmen and women of all ages and celebrates our Isle of Wight success stories.

The individual sports reports published each week show that there is much to proclaim, but there are also many un-sung heroes.  We would like to see as many sports and clubs as possible represented in the nominations.  Putting forward a nomination is acknowledging in public, the success that a member or team has achieved in 2023, or the contribution that a volunteer or officer has made to the progress of the club.

There are also awards for the Primary and Secondary school that has done the most to promote sport and physical activity in 2023.

The Awards ceremony will be held at the Medina Theatre on the evening of Thursday 21st March 2024.  All finalists and their nominators will be invited.

The nominations will be judged by an independent panel.

We can only accept nominations from our members.  This applies to individuals, sports clubs and schools, so if you aren’t already a member you will need to join first.  Membership only costs £10 per year and runs from January-December but if you join now, you will get the remainder of this year free. The membership form can be found here: https://iowsports.org/membership/

*Nominations close at midnight on Sunday 14th January 2024*
