Connected Communities Event

From Sported via the IWC Sports Unit:

You spoke and we listened.  As a result of a successful Community Fund application by Sported, Community Action Isle of Wight, Energise Me and Local Authority departments along with other key stakeholders are working together to create the opportunity, space and structure to bring local community sports, youth and arts organisations working with young people together to discuss the challenges that are currently being faced.  I have attached more information about what is involved in the lottery funded project. 

We would like to invite you to the inaugural event that will be opened by Chad Oatley where we will then discuss the challenges that face the young people on the island and also the organisations delivering with a view to working together to look at solutions.  It would be great if you could join us and here are the details. 

Date:                   14th December 2021

Venue:              Medina Leisure Centre, Fairlee Road, Newport, PO30 2EW  (Please note that the carpark at the leisure centre is pay & display.)

Time:                  1:30pm – 3:30pm (1:30pm prompt start)
