Safeguarding and Protecting Children Courses

As you know, the Foundation has offered financial assistance to affiliated Club/Association members to obtain this qualification.  Previously we have worked with the Sports Unit to deliver these courses “face-to-face”, however due to current circumstances, this is not possible.  This qualification is available via the UK Coaching website and the cost is £30 per person.

The IW Sports Foundation has ringfenced some funding to assist our members in attending these online courses.  The “deal” is as follows:

• The IW Sports Foundation will reimburse 50% (£15) to affiliated Club/Association members undertaking this course, whilst funding is available.
• Reimbursement will be paid upon sight of the certificate of attendance all participants receive.  A scanned copy is fine.
• Reimbursement will only be made to Club/Association bank accounts.  We will not reimburse an individual’s bank account.
